Zaha Hadid

She is a very famous Indian architect and is know for her liquified looking buildings. Her work is very futuristic looking and inspires me to do whatever I want with my art. Im sure that many traditional architects did not like her building designs because sometimes they did not look like buildings at all. They looked more like twisted and melting metal. These were the traits that makes her work so unique and interesting to me.

Andreas Gursky

I first saw Gursky's work in Photography class today. This first reminds me of a Jackson Polluck painting. He altered the colors of the traders suits in the the image with photoshop. Gursky, was one of the first artists that used the computer to alter his photographs. The second one is interesting because i learned that to able to get this shot, they had to take out some of the windows. It ended up selling for millions of dollars. Ironic how a picture of a 99cents store sold for millions of bucks. It also shows that even something as commercial as a dollar store can be seen as art. You can google Gursky's work to find out more about him.

Brian Donnelly aka KAWS

Brian Donnelly started out as a graffiti artist who is now a respected artist all over the world. I like his art because it makes me feel like a kid again! He often altered the Simpsons and Spongebob Squarepants. He also is known for putting his characters with fashion models and iconic people. I like how his characters look like they have a believable relationships with the people around them. His blog is here.

"Greener, Faster, Stronger and Less Expensive"

I found this type of housing called Binishells "Greener, Faster, Stronger and Less Expensive" is their slogan. I thought it was really interesting and would love to live in a house like that. But it looks a lot like the teletubbies house...
